Ghostbusters was an American comedy film, about three eccentric New York City parapsychologists-turned-ghost exterminators.
It was produced and directed by Ivan Reitman, starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Rick Moranis, Sigourney Weaver, Annie Potts and Ernie Hudson.
The film was a box office hit and was recorded as the highest grossing comedy of the 80´s. Its soundtrack was composed by Elmer Bernstein. The song Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr., won the 1985 BAFTA for best original song.
